An archive of all things Vectrex
Following is an extract of the readme-file (hope you don't mind me putting it here...)
This is the archive of all things Vectrex
The Vectrex was/is a video game system, circa 1982. It is unique in
that it contains a built-in, black&white vector display CRT (like a
TV, only it draws point-to-point lines under program control). By
today's standards, it's no match for the full color, full sound,
blood and guts video systems. But the Vectrex has a loyal following
that appreciates the machine for how much the designers could squeeze
out of a 68A09 and 2k of RAM. vectrex newbies are referred to the FAQ
for more details...
The archive contains lots of information, including binaries and hex
dumps of all known released games (the copyright holder has granted
his permission for the personal use of this software!), copies of the
instruction manuals, scans of the color screen overlays, and lots of
technical insight.
